Dr. Marga Can you have a Vascularized Lymph Node Transfer VLNTx℠ if you do not need breast reconstruction?

Vascularized Lymph Node Transfer VLNTx℠ can be preformed as an isolated reconstructive procedure to the arm or leg OR combined with a DIEP flap breast reconstruction. When combined with a DIEP flap, only one arterial and venous reconstruction is required in 80% of patients with 20% requiring both a.) a deep inferior epigastric artery and vein to internal mammary artery and vein anastamoses, and b.) a superficial circumflex artery and vein to thoracodorsal artery and vein (or their associated perforators) anastamoses.
